The HHS Group is aiming to ease the financial pressures on Hostel providers by providing a competitively priced outsourcing service

The new nationwide provider of support staff services for homeless hostels, HHS Group, has officially launched its operations with the aim of becoming the one-stop shop for safeguarding and facilities services in homeless hostels.

The company’s focus is centred around putting the needs of the residents first and aims to ensure that its staff are delivering support and concierge worker services in a psychologically informed way.
With over 15 years of combined experience in the field, the management team at HHS Group has a deep understanding of the requirements within homeless hostels. The company operates both an agency and contract services model, allowing it to offer flexible solutions that suit the needs of different projects.
The contract services model enables hostels to outsource their night staffing needs to HHS Group. The company can provide cover seven days a week with support worker staff or night concierge staff who have received training specific to each project. HHS Group manages attendance and scheduling, and any shifts cancelled by its staff are covered by the company.
The agency model, on the other hand, allows hostels to mitigate the risk of hiring staff directly. HHS Group provides personnel such as project workers, housing support workers, and cleaners on a temp-to-perm basis. It can also supply emergency outreach workers. With offices in major cities throughout the UK, HHS Group is able to offer local knowledge combined with nationwide experience and a genuine 24-hour control room at the disposal of its clients.
“At HHS Group, our goal is to provide homeless hostels with the essential support services they need to help their residents. With our combination of local knowledge and nationwide experience, we are confident that we can deliver the high-quality services that our clients expect whilst keeping our prices competitive. 2022 was a challenging year for the third sector and 2023 seems set to be the same with Homeless Hostels struggling to secure adequate funding.  We aim to deliver a cost-effective service helping to ease the financial strain being felt by Homeless Hostels Nationwide” said Marlon Smith, HHS Group Managing Director.
HHS Group operates in London, Cheltenham, Swindon, Worcester, Bristol, and Birmingham and covers the M4 and M5 Corridor. The company offers both contract and agency services, providing support workers, concierges, security, emergency outreach, project workers, and cleaners to homeless hostels.
