BreezoMeter Works with Siemens to Improve Indoor Air Quality
[ad_1]
Haifa, Israel – July 23, 2020 – BreezoMeter is excited to announce a cooperation with Siemens Smart Infrastructure, the global leader that intelligently connects energy systems, building technology and industries. The companies are working on a use case to determine the optimal time to refresh air in a building based on external air quality data.
Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) can now leverage BreezoMeter’s hyperlocal and real-time air quality data to deliver IoT and ‘air-as-a-service’ solutions. The company will do so together with Siemens’ Climatix IC, the intelligent remote monitoring and fault diagnostics solution. Siemen’s new solution enables traditionally hard-ware only suppliers to become service providers to further optimize indoor air quality, in response to outdoor conditions. The combined offering will be available at a far lower cost than developing solutions in-house.
Outdoor air-quality is key to identifying when to refresh indoor air using natural ventilation, enabling automated and consistent high levels of air quality. These data insights also empower predictive maintenance by foreseeing the optimum time to change an air handling unit filter, which purifies the air from allergens, particles and other impurities. They also enable the comparison between outdoor and indoor pollution levels to prove the filter’s efficiency.
“BreezoMeter’s real-time air quality and weather data enable HVAC professionals leveraging our cloud-based software to make informed and automated decisions for buildings. The benefits are reduced maintenance costs, increased filter efficiency as well as improved facility management through intelligent air control, all leading to higher workplace productivity,” said Henning Sandfort, CEO of Building Products at Siemens Smart Infrastructure. “OEMs can also experience greater compliance with indoor air quality regulations, thanks to data on outdoor pollution levels available within the digital system.”
“The new cooperation with Siemens underlines BreezoMeter’s continued success in the smart home industry and the preferred choice among enterprise giants due to our high level of accuracy and resolution,” said Ran Korber, Founder & CEO at BreezoMeter.
As part of Siemens’ remote monitoring and intelligent diagnostics solution for OEMs, Climatix IC can easily integrate BreezoMeter’s outdoor air quality insights to enhance AI-driven decision making for HVAC professionals for added value and access to digital transformation capabilities.
