Lochranza to Host Arran Rock & Blues Festival 2024
Arran Events proudly presents the 2024 Arran Rock & Blues Festival, taking place in the enchanting village of Lochranza on Arran, Scotland’s most southerly island off the west coast.
This third annual event is scheduled from Friday, May 3rd to Sunday, May 5th, with festival hours from 12pm until 11pm on Saturday and from 12pm until 8pm on Sunday.
Located amidst spectacular wildlife, a shoreline medieval castle, an award-winning whisky distillery, and dramatic mountainous landscapes, the festival promises an impressive lineup of rock and blues music in a quintessentially Scottish and incredibly beautiful setting.
The festival, compared by John Beattie, a former rugby union international and broadcaster for Radio Scotland, offers a family-friendly atmosphere with two main stages and an additional acoustic stage at the Lochranza Country Inn.
Thanks to the sponsorship of the nearby Arran Distillery, the second stage, named The Arran Single Malt stage, will be set up within a marquee at the primary festival location. Festival-goers are invited to visit the distillery just down the road to sample their renowned single malts and other whiskies.
The festival serves up an enticing mix of excellent Arran food and drink, providing a sensory delight for music, food, whisky, wildlife, and scenery enthusiasts.

The festivities commence on Friday evening in the Lochranza Village Hall with the John Beattie band and the Sensational Alex Harvey Experience performing a pre-festival gig to ignite excitement for the upcoming weekend.
