Here’s 2023 World Lacrosse Championship livestream: schedule, how to watch
In 2023, World Lacrosse will host the 14th edition of their annual World Lacrosse Championship, an international men’s field lacrosse competition for national teams. It had been planned for 2022, but the pandemic of COVID-19 forced a delay until 2023. San Diego, California is going to be the host city of the event. For the first time, the competition is open to the top 30 teams that qualify from their respective regional tournaments. The following is a rundown of everything pertinent to the tournament.

Men’s Lacrosse Nations participating in 2023
For the first time ever, the number of participating teams at the World Lacrosse Championship has been capped at 30 national teams for the year 2023. The amount of remaining seats for the 2023 World Championship was divided among the Continental Federations based on their previous rankings. Regional qualifiers will be held for the remaining teams in the European Lacrosse Federation (11 spots), Pan American Lacrosse Association (4 spots), Asia Pacific Lacrosse Union (4 spots), and the African Association of Lacrosse (1 spot). The top 10 full member nations at the conclusion of the 2018 world championship qualified for 2023 automatically. Finland had originally qualified through the European qualifications, but they dropped out owing to financial difficulties, and France took their place.

2023 World Lacrosse Championship Format: The world Lacrosse championship will be played on the basis of a round-robin format from June 21-26. The top two seeded teams from pool A will be guaranteed a quarterfinal appearance with the remaining core set to battle it out for a place in the quarterfinals with the top nine teams from pools B-F in a single-day playoff. The playoff will take place on the 27th of June with quarterfinals beginning on the 28th of this month.
