In the last few years, the world has witnessed some highly-anticipated matches in Saudi Arabia, and it’s time for another such event. Although the rule ‘every title in WWE will be on the line’ isn’t being applied in this year’s edition, the match card is still packed with highly-anticipated matches. Out of seven matches, five will have titles on the line.
In the main event, undisputed WWE universal champion Roman Reigns, who will celebrate his 1000 days as universal champion, has teamed up with Solo Sikoa and will be looking to leave the match with four belts after beating undisputed tag team champions Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens.
Meanwhile, their opponent duo Zayn and Owens won the championships after they beat The Usos at WrestleMania 39 and have done enough since then to split the Bloodline.
In another intriguing fight, Brock Lesnar and Cody Rhodes will take on each other. Both met at Backlash when Cody Rhodes defied all the odds and won against him, and after less than a month, both will be facing each other again.
Rhodes would have been looking to make it two into two, but after his arm broke from the angle where Lesnar attacked, there is very much chance we will see Lesnar winning the bout.
Seth Rollins vs AJ Styles for World Heavyweight Championship is another fight WWE fans are looking forward to. Over the years, both have established themselves as capable world champions in the past and have all the potential to do it again when they meet for the first time in five years.
This fight will see AJ Styles returning to the main event, and at the moment, his momentum is the only issue that can stop him from having another world title under his belt.
However, he is looking closer than ever to winning a world title in WWE after securing a WWE world title around five years ago and, at the age of 45, would like to make his last shot count. Meanwhile, Rollins is in the form of his life and would like to continue his brilliant form and win the world title.
One of the titles on the line will be from the match between Gunther and Mustafa Ali, who won a battle royal to earn this golden opportunity. That said, Ali’s win shouldn’t come as a surprise. However, Gunther is on a brilliant run of form and hopes to continue against Mustafa Ali.
Doesn’t matter what people say about Belair; she has proved herself a true athlete. She successfully defended the title against Asuka at WrestleMania and, with that, became the longest-reigning women’s champion in modern history.
At the same time, when Belair is thrashing all the records, Asuka comes to this game after earning it. Moreover, WWE Women’s Triple Crown and Grand Slam Champion Asuka is the only boxer in the world with the chance to end Belair’s historic reign.
Since Rhea Ripley began her first reign after winning against Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania, she has successfully defended her title against Dana Brooke. Moreover, as a Grand Slam and Triple Crown Champion, she has earned herself a reputation as a fierce boxer. That said, her veteran rival, Natalya, will seek to conquer Ripley and become a two-time SmackDown Women’s Champion.
