7 time management lessons from celebrity entrepreneur Adina Brunetti
How to do everything? Celebrity entrepreneur Adina Brunetti shares her life experience.
- Stay up late, get up early
I never go to bed before midnight, but I try to do it no later than one or two in the morning – it all depends on the current schedule of affairs and simply on whether I want to sleep. When I was younger, I got up later – at eight or nine, now I get up at five or six, and I got used to doing it myself, without an alarm clock. So I rarely sleep more than seven or eight hours.
- Create strategic lists
To clear my head of unnecessary information, I make hundreds of lists, including references and checklists. But the most important thing is to develop a strategy and make a list based on that.
- Get a personal assistant
When I realized that I might forget something, not do what I promised, I hired a personal assistant who monitors my schedule and reminds me of business and meetings. If you want to succeed in business, you must not forget anything. In my entire career, maybe only a couple of times I did not do something that I promised.
- Keep track of everything
I have employees, and directors, to whom I delegate part of my powers, but it still turns out that the workflow manages me and not all the way around. It’s hard, of course, but I’m not complaining. I like it.
- Take care of yourself
I try to eat a little, watch my weight. I used to play tennis. Now I work out every day, interrupting only for business trips. It is always necessary to monitor your health, especially in adulthood.
- Meditate to clear your mind.
The more information a person holds in his head, the more difficult it is for him to maintain clarity of thought. I get help from meditation practices. The best state to work with is a meditative state in which your head is clear.
I started looking for mind-clearing techniques that worked for me. So I invented three or four things to begin with that gave me more clarity, stability, control, and ability to focus. Then I shared these techniques with my clients – it helped them too. And it was the beginning of the creation of their own methodology.
- Know how to relax
I do not arrange one big vacation for myself – but several times during the year I try to leave somewhere for a few days. And I warn everybody not to disturb me or call me these days. But my phone always works for outgoing calls.
- Motivate yourself
“If you have a strong passion for something, you instinctively find ways to improve it,” says Adina Brunetti. According to Adina, her passion is a commitment to sustainability. This has been a motivation for her for several decades.
