IggyBoy’s gas fee savings rundown ahead of the mint on Sunday and the WLing closure in a few hours.
IggyBoy is going to be selling rapidly come its mint on Sunday, and the developers have recently announced some updates worth taking note of.
Low gas fees for the mint
Gas fees for ETH-based NFTs are a continuous topic of conversation for many speculators and investors; they are largely considered to be too high. The IggyBoy team had taken steps to gas savings along by implementing an ERC275A smart contract and their efforts have been successful. The gas fee for minting a single NFT is reduced but more importantly, the cost of minting multiple NFTs in a transaction would be essentially the same as that of minting just one. For instance, if the fee for an NFT totals $25 in value, the fee for five NFTs minted in a single transaction would be less than what individual transactions would merit.
Limited whitelist spots available
The IggyBoy whitelisting process has seen two stages come and go. Right now, there are barely 400 limited spots left and the minting date is drawing closer. To be specific, the collection is billed to go live on the 20th of February and the creators of the collection are offering prospective owners one last chance at joining the whitelist.

Is the IggyBoy project legit?
There have been high-profile NFT scams. Social media is also rife with claims that NFTs are scams as they have no value. This is not the case with the IggyBoy collection. This exclusive NFT has been designed to possess utility in the Metaverse. The creators have made their roadmap available on the project’s discord server.
A quick look at the roadmap shows that this NFT collection is simply a step in a much larger journey, and the drivers of the journey are determined to prevent any misconceptions or misunderstandings from harming their plans. In light of this, their website is very detailed on the utility of the upcoming collection. They are also very transparent, regularly posting updates and promises on their discord.
Most recently, they have started hosting AMAs with their community, providing answers to questions and issues posed by members of the community.
Promises
As stated earlier, the developers of the IggyBoy collection are not close-mouthed about the project and they regularly share updates and promises they make to members of their community. Some of such promises are:
- A promise to give cash back of mint price to buyers of more than 200 NFTs.
- A deal with twitter promoters/influencers to increase the reach of successful sell-out announcements
- A promise to partner with media channels to aid the distribution of PR articles. Targeted channels include Bloomberg, Nasdaq, The Associated Press, Yahoo Finance etc.
- A promise to buy banner advertising in a popular location as a means of driving more interest towards future related projects
There’s no reason to doubt the veracity of these promises. In fact, some of them have already been fulfilled and the team appears to be striding towards satisfying others as well.
IggyLady and Symbiosis NFT collections
When I mentioned future related projects, I wasn’t simply guessing at the plans of the IggyBoy developers. Details of their plans are present in their roadmap and, within the year, it is expected that new NFT collections would be released as part of their ultimate vUniversum target goal. The first collection after the IggyBoy would be the IggyLady collection. Owning an IggyBoy is expected to increase the chances of bagging an IggyLady. NFTs of both collections can then be bred together to form those of the Symbiosis NFT collection. More information on this could be gotten by joining the discord community and accessing the roadmap.
