Takatsukasa Alliance Initiates Emerging Market Asian Managers Forum

Takatsukasa Alliance, one of Japan’s leading independent asset managers who puts customer’s capital to work by providing active investment solutions across a broad range of capabilities, is pleased to announce that it will create and host a new Forum that seeks to provide portfolio managers handling assets and funds in emerging markets sector with a debating platform for business examination and future developments. The attendees are coming from over 30 asset management firms and investment banks in Asia and includes only “emerging” asset managers.
Takatsukasa Alliance has initiated the Emerging Market Asian Managers Forum based on the grounds that “emerging” asset managers are usually facing a unique set of business matters and situations in the market. In order for any emerging asset management expert to achieve meaningful progress and clients’ satisfaction, one must position his or her strategies for future success, meaning that one faces the complexity of setting an overall strategic course and managing a host of products, distribution, technology, operations, compliance, HR and succession planning issues, all at the same time, and all amid a very fluid and challenging environment.
“The Forum is an opportunity to step back for a day and really think about your business. The Emerging Market Asian Managers Forum will be held in Tokyo, where the company’s Head Quarters are located, however, the exact date and location for the event will be announced in a very short space of time, after the remaining pending invitations are addressed. Takatsukasa Alliance will release a public statement when the list of participants will be set in stone.
