About PaulCamper
PaulCamper is the fastest growing platform and community for individual campervan and motorhome rental in Europe. Managing director Dirk Fehse founded the company in 2013 with a lot of passion for camping and attention to detail. PaulCamper already has more than 9,300 vehicles from individual lenders on board and has arranged more than one million overnight stays for renters from all over the world. They all have one thing in common: Just like the start-up, they love adventure, freedom and the individuality that goes with it. Since 2017 PaulCamper has also been active in Austria and the Netherlands.
PaulCamper was born out of CEO Dirk Fehse’s personal experience of exploring Australia in a rented camper. Upon his return to Germany, he purchased his own campervan – a VWT4 christened “Paul”. To finance running costs and insurance, Dirk rented out “Paul” when he wasn’t out exploring with him and “PaulCamper” was born.
