Exide Wins “Supplier of the Year Award” from CLAAS Group

Exide Technologies (www.exidegroup.com), a leading provider of stored electrical energy solutions, has received the Supplier of the Year Award 2020 in the Quality category from CLAAS, a major agricultural machinery manufacturer. This is a special award acknowledging the high-quality of Exide’s market-leading batteries and aftersales service, and the successful long-term business relationship between the companies.

A successful partnership

Exide received the honour from CLAAS on April 26th, 2021. The companies have been working together for more than 20 years, with Exide providing best-in-class original equipment batteries for the manufacturer’s range of advanced combine harvesters, tractors, and other agricultural vehicles.

Exide batteries are produced in the company’s homologated and ISO/TS-certified manufacturing plant in Poznan, Poland, supplying the CLAAS plants in Germany, France and Russia. In addition to providing market-leading products, Exide provides CLAAS with the highest levels of aftersales service.
