MASTERCHEF WINNER JOINS CORNISH ORGANIC GIN COMPANY

The Cornish Spirits Drinks Company who are striving to save the planet one bottle of gin at a time are delighted to announce Mat Follas as a new addition to their line-up.

Mat  won the prestigious title of BBC Masterchef in 2009 and since then has pursued a career focused on his interests as a Forager, liqueur producer and award winning Chef.

The team behind the Land of Saints Organic Gin, in partnership with Sir David Attenborough’s conservation charity, Fauna & Flora International, are delighted that Mat chose to work with them on the development of new products to stand alongside their original London Dry Gin which is fast becoming a firm favourite amongst gin enthusiasts and socially conscious consumers.

Mat shares their commitment and focus of producing organic, natural products to the benefit of the customer, the charity…and the planet.

Company Director, Mike Bearcroft said, “With Mat on board, our future products will assuredly be as environmentally friendly and sustainable as it is possible to produce, as well as delicious!  We are certified as organic by The Soil Association and are the only Gin company to have been approved by ORB, The Organisation for Responsible Businesses.  With surplus profits and a guaranteed percentage from every bottle sold, going to Fauna & Flora, are we possibly the greenest gin company in the world?”.
