TutorExtra Launches New Plans to Help Private Tutors & Providers

The education of our children has been perhaps more disrupted during 2020 than in any year since World War Two. Students had to make do for months with home lessons, and this summer’s exams were cancelled in favour of course-work assessment

One result of the disruption to schools during the Covid-19 crisis is a sharp rise in parents hiring private tutors to safeguard their children’s education. Exams may have been cancelled this year, but students need to catch up on lost time in school for next year, whether they’ll be taking exams or being assessed on course work.

This situation has seen a surge of people taking up the role of private tutor for the first time. At TutorExtra, we’ve seen the number of new tutors, teachers and educators signing up double since the start of 2020.

• The Premium Plan, for £16 per month, also allows 12 images, plus the ability to list your phone number and two addresses. You’ll also have the option of joining The Tutor Association (TTA) at discounted rates.
• The VIP Plan, for £24 per month, offers all this, with 24 images allowed, plus priority customer support and higher listing in searches. You can also get free software (see below).

In all cases, you can get a discount of 25% by paying annually.

We’re particularly excited about the free software offer. We’ve partnered with Mobisystems to provide tutors on our VIP plan with OfficeSuite, allowing them to create and use Documents, Sheets, Slides, Mail and MobiDrive, and PDF Extra, which lets them create and edit PDF documents. All these can be installed on both desktops and laptops.
