Helping Hands opens new branches nationwide
Home care specialist, Helping Hands, has recently launched 21 new branches across the UK, and there are plans to open more later in the year.
The branches, located primarily in Greater Manchester and the South-West of England, will be able to provide both care for local residents and job opportunities for carers.
As well as providing specialised care to those in need, particularly during the COVID-19 outbreak, the branches also brings with them many vacancies for those who are looking for care work.
Andy Hogarth, Helping Hands CEO, said: “We’re thrilled to announce the opening of our new branches, and we hope that we can support many people in need of an extra helping hand at home. We’re very much about focussing on the customer and what they want from their care, so that they can continue to be independent in the place where they feel their happiest.
He continued: “Although plans were in place to launch these new branches many months ago, its feels as though they are more important than ever in the current climate, enabling us to reach even more people who may have been discharged early from hospital or self-isolating and need vital care at home. This is also a great opportunity for those looking for work to join us and really make a difference in their local community.”
There are 10 branches that have opened across Manchester, including a branch in Nantwich, as well as another 11 branches that have opened in Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Dorset.
Since 1989, the family-run company has specialised in visiting and live-in care and is an industry leader in the care sector.
The company, which has its head office in Warwickshire, has a network of over 100 branches across England and Wales, providing visiting and live-in care support to people living with conditions such as dementia, Parkinson’s, and mobility difficulties.
Now in its 31st year and employing over 6,000 carers, the trusted home care provider has supported over 40,000 families since its inception.
