IHEART RAISING VITAL FUNDS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE’S MENTAL HEALTH

Charity’s bid to help 50,000 children by raising £200,000 in 36 hours

September 2019 – London – Dedicated North London mental health charity IHEART (Innate Health, Education and Resilience training) is gearing up for its very first 36-hour crowdfunding campaign A Mental Revolution for Our Children. Despite huge investment and allocation of resources, the worrying statistics of suicide, self-harm and mental health problems will continue to rise unless we address the problem at its source.

Taking place on Sunday 15th and Monday 16th September 2019, IHEART aims to raise much needed funds to reach 50,000 children with the IHEART Schools Programme. “There is a mental health crisis facing our young people. We need a revolutionary shift in the mindset of our educators, parents, and leaders. You can help us cross the threshold into mental health” says Brian Rubenstein, CEO of IHEART.

Says IHEART Founder Terry Rubenstein, “The goal of this campaign is to raise £200,000 in 36 hours to reach many more vulnerable children via the IHEART Schools Programme. This is our response to creating a revolutionary shift. As young people experience greater hope and increased resilience, we envisage a transformation in the crisis that the national mental health statistics indicate. You can help us turn the tide”
